There are many people that are white in DR. When Haiti got independence from French most of the white people left. When Spaniard came to the Caribbean they killed most the Indian. I had a friend in N.Y. from DR she was dark and she always say that she was Italian and Dominican, the reason for this was that she has a very big complex.

Most of the black in Puerto Rico come from DR and other island. It is sad how they come and risk their life an the small boat, it take 3 days and if any girl has her perior they throw her to the ocean, since the blood attrack the shark.
